Turntable.fm is a fun new social site for music lovers. It is still in beta version, so they are working out some kinks, but they appreciate and read all feedback. The United States Trance Movement and Beatsmedia UK have teamed up to host our own Turntable.fm room for all the Trance & Progressive lovers out there.

To join in this beta stage you must have a Facebook account and one of your friends must already be using Turntable.fm. Once you sign up you can take turns with other people in the room being the DJ. There is a maximum of 5 DJs per Room and each DJ takes a turn playing 1 song at a time. If the listeners enjoy the tune, they hit the Awesome Button and the DJ gets a point. If the crowd does not like the music being played, then they can hit the Lame Button. Too many Lames skips the song and the next DJ begins to play.

DJs can work towards new Avatars once they gain enough DJ points, including becoming a giant gorilla, Deadmau5 and Tron. Also you can gain fans the more you play and the more people enjoy your tunes.
